This armour is created by Medio Evo in the ancient city of Gubbio in Italy. Gubbio was a very powerful city during the Middle Ages and they sent 1,000 knights to fight in the First Crusade. Northern Italian cities such as Milan produced some of the finest armour in Europe during the Medieval period.
Armours like this were made by the Milanese master armourers between 1400 and 1500 and commissioned by nobles and captains throught Europe. The armour depicted is similar to the one worn by Roberto of Sanseverino, commander of the Venetian army during the war against the Hapsburgs for the control of the southern Tyrol and who died in battle in 1487. It is now held at Waffensammlungen museum in Wien.
This armour is constructed from steel with a dark blue/black finish (similar to gun blue) and is fully articulated and can be worn. Ideally suited to somebody of average build from 5'10" - 6'2" tall. Comes complete with display sword, steel stand and wooden base.
Ships in a large box and is delivered partially assembled. Some simple assembly is required.
