Our Red Dragon Rapier Gloves are designed to protect against the blisters, scrapes and abrasions that are associated with drilling with a sword. They are lightly padded to absorb light impact whilst training but are not designed for full contact sparring and should not be worn for this purpose.

These padded leather gloves offer both comfort and control and are available in 4 sizes. They are not only great for HEMA, but are perfect for completing your Medieval or Renaissance outfit.

Our Full Mask Overlay by Red Dragon is designed for HEMA and adds an extra layer of protection to your fencing mask. The back of head protection features a series of articulated rigid plastic plates allowing for a combination of protection and mobility. The heavy-duty cotton hood is padded to absorb impact from blows and features a contoured hard plastic plate to protect the throat. The 8 ventilation holes (4 on each side) provide excellent heat release without sacrificing protection. Features and adjustable webbing strap with Velcro attachment for a comfortable fit. Mask not included.

Our HEMA Sparring Jacket by Red Dragon is designed for HEMA and is constructed from a 350N rated heavy-duty cotton with an inner lining. The jacket is well padded to receive blows but has no padding on the back as it is very rare to receive effective blows here. This has the effect of reducing the weight of the jacket whilst increasing the breathability. The zipped front panel overlaps to provide a double-layer of protection against thrusts to the torso.

This jacket also features an innovative built in gorget, designed to overlap the bib of a fencing mask to stop thrusts from travelling upwards from beneath the bib. The gorget features a padded plastic plate to protect the throat and adjustable Velcro straps that allow it to be attached either at the back of the collar or at the back of the shoulders. The gorget can also be worn under the bib of the mask if you so wish. The back of the jacket features an adjustable webbing strap with velcro attachment which allows it to be pulled in at the waist for a more streamlined fit.

This buckler has been developed with some of the top HEMA schools in Europe with durability and price in mind. It is constructed from 14 gauge steel making it durable enough to take the abuse that everyday practice in the salle throws at it. It is ideal for both I.33 and Bolognese systems.

The boss is well riveted to the face of the buckler and the grip/handle is raised at the back to allow for a padded glove, but not raised to the extent that it adversely affects manoeuvrability. A great buckler at a great price!
