Early 15th Century Pauldrons - 12 Gauge
Popular in the late 14th and early 15th centuries, these shoulders stand out for their small elevated groove that, in addition to giving it a unique appearance, stops the armour from catching on other armour or clothing.
Made in 12 gauge (2.5mm) steel.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used in its manufacture. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel rub it with mineral or synthetic oil.
