Any knight on his mind would use gauntlets to protect his fingers. Fiore dei Liberi, italian master of the 15th C. wrote that he always used gauntlets in his duels. The gauntlets are, without any doubt, one of the most complicated and yet beautiful pieces of an armour. The ones we offer here are made at the 15th C. style of the German fashion.

Made with 1.2mm steel. Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used on its manufacturing. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil.

The high quality leather glove attached is stitched to the tip of the fingers, so it is easily removed, replaced or repaired. This item is made from natural leather. It may have small marks on its surface, imperfections or won´t be 100% homogeneous. Roughness and colour may vary from piece to piece. The dying process is made using traditional techniques so final colour may vary depending on leather´s original tone.

Standard size: up to a 9 glove size (up to 23.5cm - 26cm)
XL size: 10 to 11 glove size (26-28.5cm up to 31cm)

All dimensions are approximate and may vary from piece to piece.
