Solomon, King of Israel (S.X b.c.), he was the second son of Urias’s wife, Betsabe, whom his father, David, had married. He reigned in Israel between 970 and 931 b.c. and he was respected and known as a wise, fair and powerful king.
Solomon raise the Israelite monarchy to the maximum grade of prosperity, he built up the Jerusalem Temple, and a wall around the city, and cultivated the sciences and the arts.
