Templar Shields

Our Templar Shield features the crusader “cross pattée” surmounted by 2 knights on 1 horse motif. It also features the Lions of England quartered with the Fleur de Lys of France. It is constructed from steel and brass and has a hanging chain on the back. On the reverse side is a clever device for vertically mounting a single sword or 2 crossed swords.

At the shields centre is a depiction of a Crusaders Cross centred over top of three concentric circles. Celtic knots lie above and below the cross framing the centre piece and adding a stunning contrast to the embellished Gold and Silver backdrop of this shield.

The triangular shield, known as a kite shield, is double reinforced steel with triple reinforced corners. Beautifully rich detailing of riveted golden steel fittings enhancing a natural steel finish adds to the stunning contrast which make this shield so exquisite.
