These medieval fantasy gauntlets are especially popular in LARP, where their short wrist and lightweight allow you great speed while getting all the benefits of being fully armoured.

Meticulously handmade from sturdy 16-gauge MILD STEEL, these are sturdy and will last many battles. These fasten using robust leather straps and solid brass buckles. For better comfort and grip, these come attached with suede leather gloves.

Any knight on his mind would use gauntlets to protect his fingers. Fiore dei Liberi, italian master of the 15th C. wrote that he always used gauntlets in his duels. The gauntlets are, without any doubt, one of the most complicated and yet beautiful pieces of an armour. The ones we offer here are made at the 15th C. style of the German fashion.

The Gothic Gauntlets are hand crafted from polished steel and feature a high level of articulation on account of the many decorated overlapping plates that are riveted together to allow for maximum mobility and protection. A pair of soft leather gloves are stitched/glued into place allowing them to be worn. 1 size only and will fit all but the largest of hands. 18 gauge steel construction - not recommended for re-enactment.
