Julius Caesar was one of Rome’s most successful generals. He played a pivotal role in the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire that followed. His victories in the Gallic Wars extended Rome’s territory to the English Channel and the Rhine and in 54BC he invaded Britain. He was ordered to step down from his military command after the conclusion of the Gallic Wars but instead he crossed the Rubicon with the 13^th Legion and entered Roman Italy under arms, where he quickly seized power and became Emperor.

The Robin Hood Dagger is constructed in the world famous Art Gladius sword factory in Toledo, Spain. Toledo has a reputation for producing some of the finest swords in Europe and has been the centre of sword production for centuries.

It is styled on the “Locksley Sword” from the movie Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves. The cross shaped pommel is featured on the matching “Robin Hood Sword” which can also be found on our site.
