This seriously impressive armour is hand crafted from 18 gauge steel with an antiqued brass finish and is heavily adorned by intricate detailing. It features overlapping leather scale armour on the neck, arms and legs and adjustable leather straps and buckles. The dominating helmet comes complete with a padded cotton lining cap that can be glued in for comfort should you wish to wear it. The armour comes with a white cotton cape to complete the look and also includes a black steel stand for displaying (showing off) your armour when it is not being worn.

Italian Suit of Armour - Black (wearable)
Armours like this were made by the Milanese master armourers between 1400 and 1500 and commissioned by nobles and captains throught Europe. The armour depicted is similar to the one worn by Roberto of Sanseverino, commander of the Venetian army during the war against the Hapsburgs for the control of the southern Tyrol and who died in battle in 1487. It is now held at Waffensammlungen museum in Wien.

Ulrich IX. Suit of Armour (wearable)
A Museum quality copy of jousting armour that belonged to the Count Ulrich IX, Lord of Matsch (1435-1481), and originally made by the Milanese armourers Negroli. The original is held in the Churburg Castle in Sluderno (Italy). His body was so huge that he became the symbol of the invincible warrior and a hero in the Ariosto's and Boiardo's poems. It is a typical Italian-style armour characterized by plain patches. The harness is equipped with a large basinet connected to the pauldron and provided with a very narrow eye slit.
